Clinical Volunteer Opportunity at Saffron Sheffield

Role title: Volunteer Counsellor / Psychotherapist

Organisation: Saffron Sheffield 

Reporting to: Head of Clinical Services

Commitment: Three to four hours a week for at least 12 months; to work with at least three clients weekly for up to a year; attendance at monthly in-house supervision

Application deadline: 12 pm (noon), Tuesday the 27th of May 2025

Shortlisting: Week commencing 2nd of June 2025

Interview date: Week commencing 9th and 16th of June 2025

Start date: Early July onwards (dependent on DBS and reference checks)

We are currently recruiting a number of female clinical volunteers who are able to work on either a Tuesday or a Thursday. 

Are you a therapist or counsellor already qualified, looking to gain specialist experience in complex trauma work and increase your hours?

Or, have you completed a significant part of your training on an accredited course (with some experience working with women who have experienced abuse or trauma), and you’re looking for a quality placement?

If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 12 months. In return for your skills and commitment, we offer:
