We’re thrilled you’ve decided to take part in the charity abseil event on 20th January to raise money for Saffron Sheffield.

Just a couple of things to make you aware of before you register;

  1. You must be aged 11+ to take part. If you are 15 or under, a parent or guardian will need to be with you on the day.

  2. This event is organised by Big Bang Productions (trading name of UKBC Ltd). Saffron Sheffield does not have any responsibility or liability for the abseil activity in any way.

  3. Saffron will cover your £49 entry fee. However, we expect you to raise at least £250 in sponsorship by the day of the event. If you are unable to raise this amount, or if you are unable to complete the event for any reason, you will need to reimburse Saffron for the entry fee payment.

  4. If the event is cancelled by the organisers for any reason, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Fundraising

Saffron Sheffield is registered with the Fundraising Regulator and aims to ensure all fundraising activity is in line with their Fundraising Promise and Code of Conduct. As you will be representing Saffron, we ask that you abide by the following guidance when raising your sponsorship;

  • Anyone under the age of 16 should not undertake any house-to-house or street collections.

  • Anyone under the age of 16 should have an adult help them collect and count any sponsorship monies.

  • You must fundraise honestly and respectfully. Please don’t mislead anyone or make anyone feel unduly pressured.

  • You need to be clear about the activity you are undertaking in return for the sponsorship money you are asking for.

  • Please don’t communicate to a potential sponsor in a way that is likely to cause offence, fear or distress.

  • Please don’t exhibit any behaviour that would harm our reputation.
